About Winslow
Winslow is a city of roughly 9,000 on I-40 in Navajo County, an hour east of Flagstaff, and it has been a railroad town since the Atlantic & Pacific arrived in 1882. BNSF's mainline still runs the length of it, and rail remains one of the largest employers.
Downtown holds two landmarks that define the place: La Posada, the restored 1930 Mary Colter–designed Harvey House hotel, and the Standin' on the Corner park that draws Route 66 travelers off the interstate every day of the year. Around them sits a downtown of brick commercial buildings from the 1910s through the '40s, many being slowly brought back into use.
At about 4,900 feet, Winslow gets high-desert extremes — hot summers, cold windy winters, and blowing dust that's hard on anything mounted outdoors.

Historic downtown, commercial, and industrial work
Downtown rehabilitation work is where we do the most good in Winslow. Bringing a 1920s brick building back into service means an honest assessment of what's behind the walls — original conductors, undersized services, and decades of add-ons — then a real plan: new service entrance, correctly sized panel, grounding and bonding brought current, and dedicated circuits for whatever the new tenant actually runs.
We also handle the commercial and light-industrial side that a town this size doesn't always have covered locally: three-phase equipment circuits, motor controls and VFDs, shop and warehouse lighting retrofits, and preventive maintenance including thermal inspection of switchgear and distribution panels. Residentially, it's service upgrades on aging homes, aluminum branch-circuit remediation, and evaporative-cooler and AC circuits sized for how hard they run out here.
