What's Included
- A maintenance schedule built around your equipment criticality and outage calendar, not a generic annual checklist.
- Infrared thermal scanning of switchgear, MCCs, panels, and terminations under load, with images and temperature deltas documented against previous scans.
- Torque verification and retermination of connections found loose — the single most common cause of the failures we're called back for.
- Testing appropriate to the equipment: insulation resistance on motors and feeders, breaker exercise and trip testing, overload verification, and grounding continuity.
- Cleaning and inspection of enclosures, filters, and cooling on drives and MCCs, which matters in dust-heavy mine and cement environments.
- A trended report after each visit — what changed since last time, what needs correction now, and what to plan into the next shutdown.
Questions about Industrial Preventive Maintenance
How often should our facility be on a PM cycle?
It depends on load, duty, and environment. Continuous-duty gear in a dusty or corrosive plant warrants semiannual scanning; lighter facilities are fine annually. We'll walk the site and propose an interval per equipment class rather than one blanket number.
Does thermal scanning require a shutdown?
No — the opposite. Thermal scanning has to happen under load to be meaningful, so we do it while you're running. Torque checks and testing are what we schedule into your outage.
Will the reports satisfy our insurer or auditor?
They're written to be handed over: dated, with equipment identified, images attached, findings prioritized, and corrective actions tracked visit to visit.
