Intercom System Installation

Entry, gate, and multi-tenant intercom systems wired and integrated with the door hardware they need to actually release.

What's Included

  • Station and cable layout for entry doors, gates, docks, and multi-tenant lobbies.
  • Low-voltage cabling and power for the entry station and interior stations, run in conduit outdoors and to any gate position.
  • Integration with electric strikes, maglocks, and gate operators so the release actually fires when someone buzzes the door.
  • Weather-rated exterior stations with proper sealing and, where the site calls for it, heater options that keep a keypad readable in a Flagstaff January.
  • Commissioning: every station called, every door released, and a short handoff so your staff know how to use it.

Questions about Intercom System Installation

Can you replace an old intercom without rewiring the whole building?

Often yes — many modern systems will run on existing conductors or over a single Cat6 pull. We test what's in the walls first and tell you honestly whether it's reusable.

Does this tie into our access control system?

Yes. Tell us what platform you're on and we'll wire the interface to it. If you're also adding cameras or card readers, doing them on one visit saves you a second round of cable pulls.
