- Wet-rated fixtures and transformers, with in-use covers on every exterior receptacle we touch.
- Direct-burial cable at proper depth or conduit runs under drives and walks, so nothing is lying under the mulch waiting for a shovel.
- Photocell, timer, or smart control so the lights run on their own instead of on your memory.
- Low-voltage landscape systems and line-voltage security and flood lighting, including motion-sensor placement that isn't set off by every elk that walks through.
Questions about Outdoor Lighting Installation
Will trenching wreck my yard?
We keep trenches narrow and put the sod or gravel back. In finished landscaping we route along bed edges and hardscape wherever we can to keep the disturbance minimal.
Can you add to a landscape lighting system that's already there?
Yes, as long as the transformer has capacity left — which we check first. If it's maxed out we'll tell you what a larger one costs before adding fixtures that would dim the whole run.
